Skoda Car logo

The new Skoda Enyaq iV crossover is built on the same platform as the VW ID.4 crossover. According to the company, the dimensions of the Enyaq iV are slightly smaller than the Octavia, and the size of the cabin is practically not inferior to the Kodiaq.

The Czech crossover also borrowed the power units from the Volkswagen soplatform electric car.

It is known that the base will be the single-engine Enyaq iV, which will mark the return of the Czech brand to rear-wheel drive.

The new electric crossover will be the most powerful Skoda model: the RS-version of the electric car will be equipped with a power plant with a capacity of more than 300 hp.

Also Enyaq iV promised three battery options: 55, 62 and 82 kWh. The longest range will be the single-engine version with an 82 kWh battery. The cruising range of such a crossover will be about 500 km according to the WLTP cycle.

Serial production of Skoda Enyaq iV will be set up at the brand's headquarters in Mlada Boleslav. The second Czech electric car after Citigo-e will appear on the market no earlier than 2021.

The first to go to dealers will be a special version of the Founder's Edition, dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the brand's foundation. The circulation will be symbolically limited to 1895 units.
