Volvo promised in 2017 that it will offer electrified versions of all of its models by 2019. The luxury XC40 T5 crossover, which will first enter the UK market, has also waited its turn.

The XC40 T5 PHEV comes standard with a charging cable that powers the battery from a household outlet, which takes 3.5 hours to 6 hours.
