The new model, called the Opel Corsa-e, was shown to the public as part of a special event that was held in Rüsselsheim, Germany.

The press service of the manufacturer said that in the UK the model will be sold under the Vauxhall Corsa-e name.

The new model will be available to consumers in three different trim levels. The basic (initial) version will be called the Vauxhall Corsa-e Selection.

It will be supplied with climate control with remote control, an intelligent security system, an engine activation button, and an electronic parking brake.

In addition, the base equipment will come with a 7-inch multimedia touchscreen that will support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The five-seater Corsa-e has a range of about 300 km, and the 50 kWh battery on fast charging is replenished in 30 minutes
