Advantages:
- low fuel consumption;
- good performance for a hybrid;
- spacious back row;
- high quality interior trim.
Minuses:
- hard to stick to EV mode;
- some questions about ergonomics;
- the multimedia interface is smart but impractical;
- a lot of necessary equipment is available only in the form of expensive options;
- the ride quality is not too high.
Features of appearance
Lexus products today have quite unique styling, but this was not always the case. For a long time, the manufacturer has adhered to the traditional views on their vehicles.
The modest styling of the Lexus ES perfectly matched the calm character of the models.
Today's ES 300h is a sleek mid-size hybrid sedan, the elite version of the Toyota Avalon.
The current sixth generation ES shares fewer mechanical parts with the Camry than previous versions. You can still tell by sight that this vehicle and the Camry are on the same platform, but Lexus is not very good at pairing the two, and it's Toyota's fault.
The Camry has gained fame as a cheap product in the past few years, and the ES has suffered in the context of other, newer luxury vehicles.
