The Lexus CT200h is the first purely hybrid car in the premium compact segment. The new car is equipped with the second generation Lexus Hybrid Drive system.

The car features a striking exterior and Lexus signature style in line with the Lexus L-finesse design philosophy, while maximizing aerodynamic efficiency and reduced noise levels.

In the US and other markets, Lexus is positioning the compact model as an eco-friendly hatchback with a strong sporty character.

In 2013, the car underwent restyling, in particular, the front end of the updated CT 200h reflects the new development of the Lexus corporate identity.

The hybrid setup, taken from the Toyota Prius, features a 1.8-liter engine, an electric motor and a nickel-metal hydride battery. The total power is 134 hp.
