Kia Soul EV is the first electric car of the South Korean concern intended for sale as a production model around the world.
The company considered this model as an experiment, created in order to determine the possibilities of its developments in the environmentally friendly segment of the auto industry.
The Kia Soul EV is an all-electric vehicle powered by a 110 hp electric motor.
The electric motor is powered by a set of lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 27 kWh, thanks to which the vehicle's range is 212 kilometers (according to the NEDC cycle) or 150 km (according to the EPA cycle), which is a good indicator of the range on one charge among the main competitors of the model.
A maximum speed of 145 km / h and accelerate to 100 km in 11.2 seconds.
The standard Kia Soul EV charger is designed for a power of 6.6 kW, and the duration of charging the car can vary from 8 hours (when connected to a household network) to 30 minutes with high-speed charging at specially equipped stations.
