Review of BMW i3

BMW i3 Owner's Manual & Brochure PDF above the page.

Since entering the market in 2013, the BMW i3 (60 Ah) has become a bestseller in the German and EU markets. Its success was determined by the key components of a good electric car.

The BMW i3 (60 Ah), like any BMW, drives perfectly. This is facilitated by a specially developed chassis of the car, with a suspension that allows you to combine comfort with the sporty driving dynamics inherent in all cars of the brand.

The electric car obeys the steering wheel perfectly, implicitly following the set course. It instantly accelerates when you press the accelerator pedal, maintains stability during sharp maneuvers on the road, does not lag behind in the city stream.

A powerful electric motor is responsible for the movement of the car, providing a maximum torque of 250 Nm and a speed of 150 km / h. The power reserve of the electric car is 190 km - an excellent indicator for a city car.

Power reserve BMW i3 provides a set of lithium-ion batteries located under the bottom of the car. This arrangement of the battery is beneficial in terms of ergonomics and handling.

Firstly, they do not eat up a useful amount. Secondly, they provide better stability of the car. The suspension suffers a little from the severity of the batteries, but in the BMW i3 it is designed to withstand similar loads.

As for charging the BMW i3, from a standard household network, a full battery charge is achieved in 6-8 hours.
