The lineup of the updated 2017 Acura MDX has been expanded with a hybrid modification. The US has begun accepting orders for the Acura hybrid crossover.

The new Acura MDX Sport Hybrid has a sophisticated powertrain. It consists of a 3.0-liter direct injection V6 petrol engine and 3 electric motors at once: one on the front axle and two on the rear.

The total output is 325 hp, and fuel consumption - 9 l / 100 km in the combined cycle.

The Acura MDX Hybrid has a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, and the SH-AWD all-wheel drive is complemented by traction vectoring. Adaptive dampers are also installed.

The Acura MDX crossover hybrid is available in 6 or 7 seats.
